This repurposed sari cotton long-sleeve shirt is designed for your comfort, with an oversized fit.

As a reversible handmade piece created in our studio, you can be assured that it is a one-of-a-kind original garment.

It is sized for women’s sizes 8-16 and features kimono-style sleeves that offer ample room for movement.

The shirt showcases rag quilt seams, allowing the inner layers of cotton to become visible as you wear it.

Using very old cotton kantha fabric, you can see its exquisite texture. 

Age has caused the outer layers of biodegradable cotton to break down, revealing the layers beneath, creating an artist's palette of colour and texture.

Featuring rag quilt seams on the reversed side. 

Cool and comforting, yet warm enough to transition into the cooler months, the shirt has an approximate body width -

bust 123 cm - (full circumference) 56cm length, across the shoulder measurement 56 cm

Designed as a crop top, it sits just below the waist, making it a lovely option for layered styling.

Made from vintage fabric that may show signs of wear, have patches or small marks.

This is part of the fabric's story and not seen as a fault in any way.

Our rugged vintage kantha throwover jacket is delicate and requires gentle handwashing.

We recommend washing this unique textile in a washing bag or pillow slip to protect the fibres.
